I
am a Bihari living in the UK. Proud to
be a Bihari but in despair at its
present sorry state.
Congratulations on a fantastic web
site. Perhaps one of the finest things
out of modern day Bihar. You would be
perfectly justified in giving
yourselves a pat on the back. Keep up
the good work.
Could
I suggest a more expanded photo
feature, covering the state by region?
it would be hugely popular with
home-sick Diaspora such as myself. You
could consider inviting contributions,
photos and/or written pieces from your
wider audience.

I
love going through PatnaDaily. In
fact, its in my prior to bed 'to do'
routine. I am from Patna and now I am
in Canada. I feel PD brings me home. I
love watching photographs. I enjoy
cartoons. I feel excited about PD.
Good work, keep it up.

Please
add to your list B. N. Collegiate
school that is situated next to B. N.
College on Ashok Rajpath. This is one
of the oldest school in Patna. The
girls convent is right across the
street from B. N. Collegiate. Being
away from home for past 33 years I am
not aware of developments taking place
around the school. I know there used
to be a private bus stand just by the
school in late forties. I am from the
class of 1957.

It's
nice to see a site for Patna. I am
happy to know about the details of the
various places of Bihar. I have spent
as many as 5 years at Patna. Here in
Delhi, I was missing the memories of
Patna but when I came to know about
this site, it seems everything has
changed and I am very close to Patna.
Please provide us more photographs of
Patna. Hats off to the entire team of
PatnaDaily.Com. Keep it up! All the
Best.

I
am living in Canada but I am a pure
Bihari as I was born in Islampur which
was under the Nalanda district and did
all my education from Patna. I love my
native place but sometimes feel sorry
that Bihar has acquired a bad name.
...I may
be here but my soul is there because I
love my India and Patna.

Read
your explanation about not publishing
critical letters on your site and I
fully endorse that policy. We all know
about the negatives of our beloved
place from various sources, not to
mention the degrading jokes made about
Bihar, Biharis and Patna and we all
know who to blame. However this site
is a silver lining, something very
positive and a beacon of hope that
tomorrow is another day. We need to
nurture it further.
Also,
may I congratulate you on the
excellently worded explanation of your
policy of publishing letters!!!
Good
luck and thanks for bringing this site
to all the Patna'ites spread around
the world!!!

This
site is really not only the "Pride Of
Patna" but also of Bihar. Now we can
read news from our home. Thank you for
your endeavor.

Congratulations for this nice Web
site. There should be "friendship"
column also, so that Bihar-based
people may contact through this site
anywhere in India.

You
should add a feature which could allow
people to post their views on news
related to Bihar.

My
grandparents and my parents used to
live in Dariyapur Gola. I was trying
to see in the map which you have
posted on the Web site but could not
find it. I was a kid when I came to
Patna loooong time ago. I remember
Exhibition Road, Apsara cinema, Hathua
market. I want to visit this city
again and show it to my to-be wife the
places where our grandparents used to
live. The pictures you have posted
gave me a very sensational feeling.
Although I do not remember anything
because my mom and dad brought me to
Patna only for few months. Now that I
am a grown up man, if I see anyone
from Patna I personally go and meet
with them. I remember there was a
mithai called madarsa (anarsa??) from
Gaya and indersa, and a special bread.
It's been so many years but I could
not forget the taste. If I have money
I will definitely come and visit this
old city which must have changed its
color now. I wish if you could post a
picture of Dariyapur Gola too.
