I
congratulate you and your organization
for presenting such a beautiful and
informative site.
This site may mean just a website to
others, but you don't know through
navigating link slides and images of
Patna how my sentiments pumped drops
of tears from my eye as I am living
far away from Patna, rather India.
Anyway, once again I would like to
thank you for enabling me to put
Maurya Lok on my desktop.

My
father was from Sahasram (where Sher
Shah is buried). My mother was from
Digha Ghat (Patna). My parents
migrated to Pakistan in 1947. I
visited Digha Ghat in 1963. I enjoyed
the Chhath-ka-mela and sipped tea in
chukka (local earthenware tea cup).
What a nice time I had!
I always ask myself a question. Why
Bihar is so backward as compared to
other states? The state has produced
numerous professionals including
doctors, scientists, educationists,
engineers, politicians, etc but there
is no world famous institution like
the IIT or Aligarh. It is time to
establish world class institutions. If
the Chief Minister can build a good
and stable infrastructure, Biharis
from all over the world can
participate in helping the state
improve the standard of life in Bihar.
There is no dearth of talents or money
in the community. If the government of
Bihar can provide investment climate;
money and energy will flow in the
state. Let us all put our efforts in
uplifting the conditions of living.
People of Bihar deserve to enjoy the
21st century amenities of life.

I
would like to congratulate you on an
excellent web site. Having lived

I
am an American from Southern
California who happened to stumble
upon your website on the internet. I
just want to say that I find your
articles interesting, and I especially
love the "Oops" comics. Sometimes I
don't understand the joke because it
is about people I don't know, but I
laugh quite hard at most of them. I
really enjoy learning about your city
and culture through your website. Keep
up the excellent work.

Its
great to see Patna online. It came as
a pleasant surprise. I love Patna, its

I
am from Patna but these days I am in
Canada. It was really great to see
this site with current and updated
news of Patna. But the best part was
the photo gallery. The first thing I
did after seeing this website was to
bookmark it. Can we have the photo
gallery updated every now and often?

I
was really delighted to see a website,
which was Bihari, very Bihari. Thanks
for that.
I have done my entire schooling from
Patna. I am a product of Gyan Niketan
(1998-99 batch) and I did my 10+2 from
Patna Central School (1999-01 batch).
Nowadays I am in Scotland doing my BA
(Hons.) in International Hospitality
Mgt. from Queen Margaret Univ.
College, Edinburgh.
I
would like to request you all,
everybody, please for the coming
generations, try to do something for
the betterment of our state. We have
already lost a lot, which would never
be regained, but try to retain
whatever is left. Bihar, with all the
resources, a nation could dream about,
boasts about rising no. of crime,
corruption, etc. No body and I mean
nobody will be going to be benefited
by this. I always wanted to see my
state on the top, and we can still
make it happen.

I
am a resident of Patna currently in
USA. This website is really good and I
visit it very frequently. It just
makes me feel that I m not far away
from Patna where I spent nearly 20 yrs
of my life.
If you could add some photographs of
localities near Rajabazar, Ashiyana,
Jagdeo Path, it would be really good.

I
have seen photos on your site that
will tarnish the image of Bihar
because photos are not pretty and
gives bad impression. So try for good
photos.
