I
have been reading some comments by
some of you. Most of your
expressions are done so well. I must
state that I feel very positive at
times whenever I see some of you as
speakers/writers/readers on this net
expressing your views, desires to
see our great Bihar on a path to
re-building it once again for our
secured, prosperous, joyful future,
full of real anand. Where else can
one find a place of fun other than
Patna to enjoy all great things in
life?
Having lived in Canada for thirty
four years and achieved most basic
needs of life as well as now being
the first Bihari MLA in Canadian
history, I feel very homesick, very
sad as well as challenged when I see
images of Ganga from the famous
Ghats of Patna, (Aaye kahaa sey
ganga, jayey kahaa rey?), the Great
Gol Ghar, Exhibition Road, Patna
College, the over crowded Patna
Junction Railway station and all
Paan wala shops who just transmitted
the pleasure, the real joys of "Zindagee
to usee ko kahtein hai jo basar
terey saath hotee hai".
Anyways, I got a little carried away
on my puranee yaadein. Let us see
how and what needs to be done to
make Bihar once again safe, secured
and the most caring and loving place
on the globe. Believe you me, it was
like that when I left India in 1969.

Dear
PatnaDaily.Com,
I
am calling out from Mauritius. You
have been instrumental in helping me
trace Kowarah (between Arrah and
Jagdishpur), the village of my
ancestor who arrived in Mauritius in
1859. The contact you provided me
with, has been partly helpful. Can
somebody give me some more details
on Kowarah? A local map showing the
village, even a sketch would be
wonderful. I am planning to visit
the village next year.
Thanks, once again, from the bottom
of my heart.

My
heartiest and sincerest congrats for
having created this site. It's
fabulous and so nostalgic to be able
to beckon your old friends who were
at one point of time reckoned much
more than him/herself. Aah, where
are those moments now? You have
really served us by providing this
platform! Thanks again.

I
feel pain when I hear the news of
completely collapsing system in
Bihar. It seems that the jungle raj
is not enough to describe the
situation in Bihar. I am a Bihari
and feel ashamed when our colleagues
and friends talk about the complete
anarchy in every sphere there. It
looks to me that there is no place
for the honest people there. One has
to be corrupt and criminal-minded to
survive there.
I
hope and pray that the old glory of
Bihar will return in our life time.

I
need to connect with People from
Bihar. I am in Canada for the past
34 years. I am an MLA in Winnipeg
Manitoba and a Legislative
Assistance to Premier of Manitoba.
In Canada, I believe, I am the first
and only one Bihari to be elected as
MLA and an official to be sitting on
the Government Benches in Canada.
I
love my birth place and see a lot of
future for young people in that
state. The Land of Lord Buddha,
Samrat Ashok, Dr Rajendra Prasad,
Loknayak Jay Prakash Narayan, must
give birth to new BIhar which would
bring prosperity and happiness to
millions of great people living in
Bihar. I need to know how can I help
re-build Bihar?

I
visited your site for the first time
and I am really impressed with the
kind of information. Photo gallery
is too good. I appreciate the
initiative of the site owner. I
would suggest to include updated
information regarding education,
job-related information, career and
opportunity aspects. Please include
recipes of Bihar under it's
category. Job well done indeed.

Wonderful
site! Well done, folks! A pleasant
surprise indeed. I am from Patna so
it gives me a nostalgic feeling.
Keep us informed about what's going
on there. Just one advise - do not
follow the English media style.
Catch people's nerves by 'Bharatiya'
thinking approach. I am sure you
will.

I
have been living in UK for 6 years
and haven't visited Patna since
then. It's nice to see the pictures
of Patna especially my school St.
Joseph's Convent and Exhibition
Road. I am proud of Patna and miss
it. Thanks for your good work.

I
lived in Patna for a while, and also
traveled to some other parts of
Bihar. Believe me, Patna is the
greatest place to live... especially
Pataliputra Colony. And Laloo Yadav
is the greatest guy, at least he is
not a pakhandi, like many other
politicans. (If you meet him please
convey him my regards).
I
miss Banda Ashram (behind Sri
Krishna Puri) and Ashok Singh, his
brother Dharminder Singh and the
other members of their family.
Patna is Great! It's roads are as
good as in any other state (I have
traveled all over India). Except one
patch between Pataliputra Colony and
New Pataliputra Colony which was
only better than the worst that I
have seen in Delhi and Mumbai (I
won't mention Kolkata).
