On
the Google search I just typed the
name of a friend of mine in school
whom I have not met since 1956
(that's quite a long time ago). Lo
and behold I came over to this web
site and there was an entry made by
the friend I was looking for. His
name - Noel Pires. I don't know if
he is the same Noel. If he had
joined Patna St. Xavier's in Prep 1
in 1951 then he is the guy. I also
joined the school that year.

Editor's note:
PatnaDaily.Com was able to reunite
Mr. Guha and Mr. Pires who are in
touch with each other now. |

Kudos
for creating such an exciting site.
It would be great if you can add a
link describing the super-achievers
of Bihar. We have plenty of them
ranging from cinema (Manoj Bajpai,
Shekhar Suman, Shatrughan Sinha,
Madhvan from undivided Bihar etc.)
to journalism (M. J. Akbar, P. K.
Jha) to academics (Numerous IIT and
IAS toppers). We can also add our
historical background in it. As we
all know Bihar has produced many
successful people but they disappear
in oblivion and fail to inspire the
youths of Bihar who at present see
no light at the end of the tunnel.
A link like this will instill a
sense of pride among millions of
Biharis. There are NRBs, who after
quitting Bihar hesitate to accept
Bihar as their home-state. They need
to know why Bihar is special. After
all despite all the problems in
Bihar it is our motherland. Remember
"Janni Janmbhumisch swargadapi
gariyasi"

I
was searching the link in PatnaDaily
where we could find our
school/college mates. Please confirm
that you guys had taken out this
option or I am missing something. I
am a daily visitor of this site.
Unfortunately for last one month I
couldn't access any internet. Now I
am in UK and would like to enjoy
reading PD for our state news. You
guys are doing good. Keep it up.

I
have no word to describe after
seeing this site. Thanks!!! I did my
schooling from Samastipur, then
Patna. After that I come to Pune.
Right now I'm a Support Engineer at
Pune. I miss Patna and Samastipur.
Daily visit this site and get latest

I
know that you have discontinued the
matrimonial section for obvious
reasons. I hope you will sincerely
appreciate that there are lots and
lots of professionals from Bihar who
are working at high places abroad. I
can only speak for myself. My son is
a Berkeley graduate and we were
getting serious response for his
marriate, all via PatnaDaily. You
will always find people who can
misuse any system. Internet is
pretty badly misused, but it has its
benefits. If you have to survive and
succeed, have courage. May God help
you. With kind regards,
