My
name is Md. Nizamuddin. I was born in Patna district but came to
Pakistan after partition. I got my education in Patna and I love
the city. Bihar province
is very important since many famous people were born here. It is
the place of many Rishis, Munis and pious people
like Buddha and Yeha Maneree Mallick Ibrahim whose "darghah" is
at Bihar Sharif.
My desire is to go and see
these places but due to restriction on visa, I cannot visit.
Recently, my wife and I wanted to visit Patna and see my village
and see the old people. Please ask your government to issue visa
to old people like us.
Lastly I pray to the God for
best relation between the people of these two countries. I'm
living in USA along with my family.

I am a CGI
Artist/Animator in Los Angeles, USA. I grew up in Patna and did
my schooling through St. Michael's high School. I must
congratulate your team for this website. I do miss Patna a lot
but your website makes me feel closer to my own people. Most of
all, the cartoons of Mr. Kumud Asthana are just fantastic and
amazing. I have recommended this website to all the people I
know in the USA and I would love to do more for you guys. This
website is one of those shining stars in the World Wide Web.

I grew up in
Patna. This website gave me a lot of thrill. Congratulations! I
also found out that Shatrughan Sinha is elected to the Rajya
Sabha now. I was in Science College Pre-Univ. when he went to
the same school B.Sc. Part I. One question - will the law and
order situation improve in the near future?

At the very outset I would
like to commend such a great effort. It may not mean much to the
people of Bihar or Patna as they might not understand the
essence of pride over one's native place.
As it is, when whole of the nation rather whole
of the world looks down on Bihar as a place which is not even
fit for animals, an effort like this is a ray of hope.
I left Bihar some 7 years ago, but still that
stigma of being a Bihari, (I am calling it a stigma so that
Biharis could understand the effect of their conduct inside and
outside their own home that has earned them this fame) never
leaves me. I am appreciated for my capabilities and work till
the person in front does not know that I belong to Bihar, once
this fact is revealed, I lose the respect for no fault of mine.
Keep the good work going!!

knowing about your site until I got your address while searching
for site related with Patna.
It gave me
a great pleasure visiting your site since I have been very
closely and emotionally related with our Patna. I got my
education there. My parents along with my brother reside in
Patna itself. I reside lonely in Jamshedpur mere with memory of
my days at Patna. I visit Patna occasionally.
I appreciate all your team for launching this
site. Please keep it up.

I live in California, USA,
but grew up in Patna. My means of keeping in touch with my
beloved home-town is through your website. You have started to
include pictures in your news which definitely makes news
reading more enjoyable. My congratulations to you. I hope that
you will include more pictures with your news in your future
editions and help us "Patnaites" stay close to our city.
Best Wishes to you and your team!

I
am Shamshul Haque from Pakistan and read your web site everyday
and enjoy it very much. Please give us more information about
Patna. I love your country very much. I
came to Patna in June 2000. It was summer time but it also
rained a lot then that prevented me from seeing Patna as much as
I would have liked to see. I still have regrets of not being
able to see the city. Anyway, whenever the border between India
and Pakistan reopens, I will certainly visit Patna again.
My parents are originally from India but I
grew up in Pakistan. Our relatives still live in Jehanabad area.
Pakistan, at this time of heightened tension
between the two countries, has banned showing of any Indian
channel. That forced me to look up the Web and fortunately found
your site. Dear editor, please pray from your God that the
relationship between the two countries get better. I would love
to come to Bharat again.
I wish the Hindus and Muslims would quit
fighting. Human life is very costly. I truly believe Muslims
leaving in India are Indians and should abide by the Indian laws
and rules. A few bad Muslims are giving a bad name to the entire
community. Every time I hear the news of trouble between Hindus
and Muslims in India, I can't help but cry.
I Hope I have not offended you or anyone else
and apologize if I did.

was born in Patna and went to St. Michaels High School. I have
been living in Dallas, Texas USA for the past 10 years and
recently visited Patna after almost 5 years.
Ever since I've come back I've been homesick and
your site provides me some solace as I cannot be physically
there. You have a done a great job. Only one request - can you
post some more pictures of Patna - like a weekly or monthly
album in addition to the standard photographs that you have
there. That would really give anyone the general feeling of
what's happening in Patna.

Good
to see this site on the net. I am one of the Patnaites who lives
here in Christchurch, New Zealand. It would be nice to have the
whole news of Patna and the surrounding area. Keep it up folks!

happened to find your address during a search on Alta Vista. I
was basically looking for some information about Bihar in
General and Patna in particular. I found your site pretty
useful, particularly the photograph section where one could see
various landmarks of the city. The site otherwise is fine but if
only it could be a little more exhaustive about the information
regarding Patna city in general. The infrastructure aspect, I
mean. You are doing a good job telling
the world about this great city. Keep it up.

I
am Amit from Muzaffarpur currently working at Chandigarh. I
recently saw PatnaDaily on net and am really impressed. You are
maintaining it really well.
Just one
suggestion, it would be great if you could provide a link on
your web site www.patnadaily.com for Matric results 2002. My
cousins have appeared for this exam and I am not able to find
any links or web site for 2002 results not even at the BSEB web
site.
