Patna: Nearly seventy people took part in a car and scooter rally in Patna on Sunday with the men in the cars and women on two-wheelers showing their driving skills on the streets of Patna.
The event was flagged off by Patna High Court Justice Ajay Kumar Tripathi and Major K. N. Muthanna.
The rally began and ended at the Patna New Club at 7:30 after passing through Patna Airport, Bihar Veterinary College, Jagdeo Path, Raja Bazaar, Patna Golf Club, Boring Road, Rajapur Pul, Exhibition Road, Kankarbagh Bypass, Patna High Court, and Income Tax Roundabout.
Each driver had a companion in the form of 'technical expert' to finish the run.
In the senior's car rally, M. P. Bidasaria and Sudha Bidasaria won the first place while Prof. Nawal Sinha and Manjay Kumar were adjudged the runners-up. In the women's scooter event, Manjari Kumari and Krishnavati Pandey won the first place while Hema Rani and Ashish Kumar were awarded the runners-up prize.
A number of prominent citizens including Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) Regional Manager S. C. Acharya, Patna Dairy Project Managing Director Sudhir Kumar, Bihar Motor Sports Club Limited Secretary Diljeet Khanna, Bankpipore Club Secretary Dr. Om Prakash, New Patna Club Joint Secretary Rohit Singh, Jalalpur Infrastructure Director Archana Singh, Paras Hospital Director Dr. Ravi Shankar Singh, and event secretary Ashok Kumar Sinha were present at the award ceremony at the Red Carpet Banquet Hall on Boring Road.BLOG COMMENTS POWERED BY DISQUS
