Patna: Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Wednesday held a high-level meeting of his energy czars to review progress in various projects that constitute a major portion of his so-called 'Seven Resolves' that promises to provide electricity to every single household in Bihar before the next state elections.

Kumar, holding the meeting at his home on 1 Anne Marg in Patna, directed the officials to finish all pending projects in a speed manner and do away with those projects that do not appear to be feasible or practical anymore.

Going through PowerPoint presentations on Renewable Energy Policy prepared by Bihar Renewable Energy Development Agency (BREDA), and other presentations on Grid Connected Rooftop Solar scheme, Rural Electrification scheme, and the CM Energy Resolve Plan, the Chief Minister said he was not satisfied by the speed of work and ordered the officials to expedite work at all places.

The meeting was attended by Bihar Energy Minister Bijendra Prasad Yadav, Chief Secretary Anjani Kumar Singh, Energy Secretary Pratyaya Amrit, Kumar's personal secretary Chanchal Kumar and Atish Chandra, and officials from power companies in Bihar.
