Patna: Jan Adhikar Party (JAP) leader and Member of Parliament (MP) Pappu Yadav, at a press conference at his residence in Mandiri area in Patna on Wednesday, called Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) President Lalu Prasad Yadav a 'jallad', or an executioner, saying those who were in the business of killing others do not need doctors for health issues.
Referring to the brouhaha involving his son and Health Minister Tej Pratap Yadav who summoned three doctors and two male nurses from the Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (IGIMS) in Patna to take care of him while he was slightly indisposed, Pappu Yadav said he failed to understand why an 'executioner' who was used to killing people would need a doctor or a personal attendant to nurse him back to health.
The MP from Madhepura also demanded a high-level probe in Lalu Prasad Yadav and his family members' assets that they, he said, had acquired under false names.
"Lalu family is above the Indian Constitution; laws don't apply to them," he said with sarcasm dripping from his voice.
Reacting to Bharatiya Janata Party's dare to the Nitish government to hold snap polls in the state to prove its popularity, Yadav said that if both the BJP and the JD-U were so confident of their success, it would be best if the two parties duked out in the next election all alone without the help of any other party.
The former RJD leader also took a shot at Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath who is expected to visit Bihar shortly saying he should first worry about his own state that is on fire before trying to douse flame in Bihar.BLOG COMMENTS POWERED BY DISQUS
