Patna: Members of the Janata Dal – U district cell in Patna on Wednesday took out a rally between Kargil Chowk and JP Roundabout near Gandhi Maidan to mock the 'Janadesh Apman Yatra' being undertaken by Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader and former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar Tejaswi Yadav.
Chanting anti-Lalu and anti-Tejaswi slogans, the protestors took out a 'Free Bihar from Corruption' rally near the Kargil Chowk to remind the Lalu family that it was JD-U leader Nitish Kumar who brought them back from the brink of political obscurity and not the other way around.
"You cannot erase all of your sins by going on a frivolous yatra. Tejaswi Yadav came to occupy the Deputy Chief Minister's seat because Nitish Kumar was being generous to the Lalu family. He neither had the education nor political experience and now he is acting as if he is the biggest leader in Bihar," said cell President Kamal Parwez.
Had Nitish Kumar not been the face of the Grand Alliance, RJD would have faced worse political fate than it experienced in 2010 when it was virtually wiped off, he said.BLOG COMMENTS POWERED BY DISQUS
