Patna: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) President Lalu Prasad Yadav, after showing his face in a Jharkhand court in connection with the fodder scam, returned to Patna on Thursday only to find himself in a political controversy created by none other than his own son Tej Pratap Yadav who earlier threatened to crash the wedding of Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi's son and beat up the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader in full public view while the wedding was being solemnized.

"I don't believe in the politics of beating or killing and Sushil Kumar Modi should go ahead without any fear of any disruption by anyone," Yadav, whose elder son is yet to show any contrition over his extremely foolish and irresponsible comment, said on Thursday.

Yadav's son who continues to show thuggish behavior since losing power last July after enjoying plush ministerial berth as the Health Minister in the previous Nitish cabinet, in a video gone viral, was seen as saying that Sushil Kumar Modi had invited him for his son's wedding only to humiliate him but he was not being fooled by him.

"He remains my enemy and I will crash the wedding and beat him up in front of everyone. I will humiliate him. I am a different kind of man and the son of Lalu Prasad Yadav who says everything on one's face and not behind one's back. I am not afraid of anyone," the son of Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi said drawing intense criticism from the NDA quarter.

Meanwhile, BJP youth leaders in Patna on Thursday burnt the effigy of Tej Pratap and Lalu Prasad Yadav demanding immediate apology from the former minister saying if he did not apologize to Sushil Kumar Modi then they would be forced to 'take proper action' against him.
