I was introduced to her in 1995 at my wedding as my husband’s aunt…..Sudha mausi. From thereafter I got to know her and found her to be an amazing lady ! I really admired her personality and energy and thought her to be a great inspiration for women. She always managed to take time off her busy schedule to visit or help her family members and have them over at her place for food. It did not take me long to realize that though sisters, she and my mother-in law were best friends. Her nephews and nieces loved her and she was always ready to help and advise them. Her loss came as a shock for each and every member of the family. Mausi….all of us will miss your laughter and affection that you showered upon us. We will miss the warm and happy welcome you gave us when we visited you. For us, Patna will not be the same without you anymore. She had once gifted me a ‘shankh’ (Indian conch shell), which I use for my daily prayers. Mausi… just to let you know… whenever the sound of that shankh is heard, your love will echo along with it in our hearts. Similar/Related Articles
