Birth Anniversary of S. K. Singh Celebrated. Photo by Shashi UttamSri Krishna Singh was a serious social philosopher and a freedom fighter who dedicated his life for the good of those who had been denied their rights by the society. These were the words of the state Science and Technology Minister Anil Kumar who presided over the 87th birth anniversary of Sri Singh at the MLA's Club in Patna on Sunday.

"By following up on the principles of Sri Singh, we can hope to bridge the gap between those who have and those who don't," said the Minister.

Bihar Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh, in his speech, also eulogized Sri Singh describing him as a leader in the same league as Loknayak Jai Prakash Narain and Ram Manohar Lohia.

Former Union Minister Sanjay Paswan said that today, more than ever, was the need for a social reformer like Sri Singh because in the current politics, the term social revolution had lost its true meaning and shrunk to an election slogan.
