Land Reform Minister's Father Passes Away

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and other Bihar leaders in Patna on Sunday paid their respect to the father of Land Reform Minister Narendra Narayan Yadav who died earlier today at the minister's official residence at the age of 90.

Siaram Yadav, who had been battling illness for quite some time breathed his last just hours after Uma Shankar Srivastava, the husband of State Planning Minister Sudha Srivastava, died at her official residence on Sunday.

In a statement issued, Kumar said he was saddened by the death of Mr. Yadav and Mr. Srivastava and expressed his condolence to the family members.
