Yet another Dead Body Recovered in Patna

The police in Patna on Tuesday recovered the body of a man from a water tank at the Shalimar Cold Storage near Anisabad intersection under Gardanibagh police station sending a wave of panic in the area in view of the Sunday night massacre in Phulwarisharif that left five people dead.

The deceased who was identified as Mohammed Fahimuddin was a resident of Phulwarisharif and was employed as a pickup truck driver of the cold storage company.

Relatives of the victims insisted Fahimuddin was murdered and thrown in the tank but the police, after the initial investigation, asserted his death appeared to be accidental.

Eyewitnesses said they saw Fahimuddin earlier washing the pickup truck in the water tank and later taking a dip in it.

His body was sent to the Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) for an autopsy.

The police are investigating the case.
