Photo by Anupam SinghRashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) top leaders, at the meeting of its block activists in Patna on Friday, urged them to go to each village in their blocks and apprise them of the achievements of the UPA government and its various schemes initiated by the Bihar leaders that are specifically designed to help the villagers.

"We must be prepared for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections and make sure we do not allow the communal parties to come into power," said the party MP and state general secretary Ram Kripal Yadav.

The July 21 scheduled training camp in Bakhtiarpur may have to be extended because that is the same day the UPA government would seek vote of confidence following the withdrawal of support by the Left parties, the leaders said adding in that event, the training camp for the party workers would be held on July 25.

Central Minister Kanti Singh, MPs Vijay Krishna and Rajniti Prasad, former MP Vijay Singh Yadav, party national spokesperson Shyam Rajak, MLC Ramvachan Rai, along with dozens of other leaders and supporters attended the meeting.
