Two Criminals Nabbed from Gandhi Maidan

The Patna police under Gandhi Maidan police station on Tuesday arrested two criminals and recovered a pistol, some live ammunition and other weapons from their possession.

Based on a tip, the police arrived at the Gandhi Maidan and nabbed three men sitting under the Gandhi statue engaged in masterminding their next crime in the state capital.

Besides a pistol, the police also recovered two live cartridges, two knives, and a cell phone.

The men were identified as Sanjit Kumar and Munna Sahni – both with extensive previous criminal history including armed robberies in Kankarbagh and Alamganj areas, the police said.
