Youth RJD Burns the Effigy of Advani

The youth wing of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) in Patna on Sunday, in anticipation of a mid-term elections, pulled out the 'communal' card and burnt the effigy of senior Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Prime Minister aspirant L. K. Advani saying his game was up and the 'people of Bihar would not be fooled by his anti-Muslim rhetoric'.
"This is the same person who led the march against the Muslims in Gujarat and who was opposed of the use of computers in India. Once again he is preparing to spread his communal venom to mislead the people in the hope of becoming the Prime Minister of India," said party activist Vipin Bihari Nirmal at the rally at Dak Bungalow Crossing.
The protestors also accused Advani of opposing the proposed nuclear pact with the United States for sheer political reasons saying it was the NDA government led by former Prime Atal Bihari Vajpayee that initiated nuclear talks with the US but now was opposed to it because it now helped its own cause of creating anti-UPA sentiments.
Earlier, RJD chief and Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav also warned people of be wary of the BJP predicting it would once again rely on anti-Muslim rhetoric to wrestle power from the UPA.
