Patna: June 27, 2008
Patna University (PU) will start offering course in disaster management from the next academic session to prepare students to seek profession in non-traditional areas that are the hallmark of most developed nations, PU Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr. A. I. Ehsan said at a two-day camp on disaster management on Friday.
"Today the entire world is taking training in disaster management very seriously. With all the development in science and technology, humans have not been able to avoid disasters like flood, earthquake, fire, hurricane and other natural catastrophe.
