RJD Leaders Demand CBI Probe against Radha Mohan Singh. Photo by Anupam SinghThe Youth Wing of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) in Patna on Wednesday staged a protest against the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) state president Radha Mohan Singh for his alleged remarks against the RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav while demanding a high-level enquiry against Singh for acquiring properties disproportionate to his known sources of income.

RJD MP from Patna Ram Kripal Yadav, at a dharna held at the Income Tax roundabout, said that Singh had amassed properties in various parts of the state that were in direct contrast to his known sources of income and a CBI probe should be launched to get to the bottom of the case.

Interestingly, these are the same charges that Singh earlier made against the RJD chief and Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav.

Meanwhile, Yadav threatened to drag Singh to the court for making 'baseless, frivolous' allegations against him saying the charges against him had no merit and he would be consulting his lawyers to explore the possibilities of suing the BJP leader.
