Youths Demand Removal of Minister, Chairman of Minority Commission. Photo by Anupam SinghActivists under the banner of State Youth Morcha in Patna on Wednesday staged a protest against the Nitish government demanding the removal of State Minority Welfare Commission chairperson Naushad Ahmed and Rural Development Minister Bhagwan Singh Kushwaha for their alleged involvement in corruption and criminal cases.

"The state government must throw out Ahmed and Kushwaha as the former is an accused in a case involving selling off government lands for personal gains while the former is an accused in a massacre and murder in Nawada," Youth Morcha leader Praveen Kumar said.

The group, while burning the effigies of Ahmed and Kushwaha at the Income Tax roundabout, vowed to launch a signature campaign against the two men and intensify their stir if they were not immediately removed from the government.
