Hundreds of students in Patna on Friday rushed to their schools to check the results of the class 12 exams earlier held by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) with many schools claiming success rate well above 90 percent while declaring DAV School student Akaash the top scorer in the state capital for clinching 94.4 percent marks in his finals.

Also of DAV School, Swati Surabhi clinched the second place in Patna scoring only slightly less than Akaash with 94.2 marks.

Among others who also made their parents and teachers proud were St. Michael's High School Tarun Verma (94%), Notre Dame's Ankita Sinha, St. Michael's Aditya Agrawal, and Central School Kankarbagh's Smriti Suman (93%), and Gyan Niketan's Aditya Ujjwal (92.2%).

Other schools in Patna also boasted huge success in the CBSE exams with Holy Mission claiming a success rate of 93% and Navodaya asserting its claim at 90%.
