"Even after being in power for four years, the UPA government at the Center has completely failed on all fronts including failing to curb high cost of living, failing to implement the Minimum Common Program, ignoring the interests of the students, and surrendering to the bullying tactics of the United States of America," student leader Abhinav Kumar said.

Similar protest were also organized at Vanijya Mahavidyalaya and Darbhanga House where students demanded the resignation of Manmohan Singh while promising to intensify their stir if their demands were not fulfilled within a reasonable time.
