Boy Falls in Ditch in Kankarbagh; Dies

In a tragic incident, A 12-year old boy died when he fell into a water-filled ditch at a National Building and Construction Corporation (NBCC) construction site in Kankarbagh on Monday causing much resentment in the area.
According to the reports, Santosh Sahni, the son of Rajendra Sahni was playing near the Kankarbagh drainage construction site when he was reported missing.
When the family members and neighbors launched a search for Santosh, they found his lifeless body in a ditch dug up by the construction crew.
He was rushed to the Patna Medical College Hospital (PMCH) where he was declared dead.
Angry family members and other residents of the area then blocked the road and demanded arrests of NBCC officials who were nowhere to be found despite attempts to contact them at their office.
