Security Guard at PMCH Beaten up. Photo by Anupam SinghFamily members and friends of a Patna Medical College Hospital (PMCH) employee brutally beat up a security guard outside the Tata Ward requiring him to seek immediate medical assistance with serious injuries.

As reported, Om Prakash, a private guard on duty at the Tata Ward, tried to stop some women from entering into the hospital. Situation soon flared and before the guard could find an amicable settlement, more than a dozen family members of the women jumped on him and beat him black and blue.

Om Prakash was rushed to the Emergency Ward where he was treated for cuts and bruises on his head and face.

So far no one has been arrested in the case.
