Hundreds of thousands of students in Patna on Thursday flocked to the nearest cyber café to see their fate after the authorities published the Class 10 CBSE results on the Internet causing a stampede like situation at many places though by and large the crowd remained peaceful and disciplined.

Among the schools in the state capital, Rahul Kumar of Gyan Niketan topped the list by securing 98.6% followed by Rituraj and Prashant Kumar of BD Public School who obtained 97.8% each.

Others who also nearly aced the exams include Piyush Sinha of DAV Walmi (97.2%), Garima of DAV Shastri Nagar and Chinmoy of Delhi Public School (97%), Dipti of Notre Dame (96.8%), and Anurag Basant of St. Michael's High School (95%), among many others.

Successful girls and boys were seen celebrating at many places, high-five'ing each other, displaying victory signs, and distributing sweets among themselves. While many were choosing to just bask in the glory of their successes for next few days, others are already setting their eyes on their future by talking about their choice of schools and areas of specialization.

As reported earlier, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has announced attractive cash awards to the toppers in a number of categories that are certain to come handy to each and every recipient in the coming weeks when they apply for admissions in the colleges of their choice.
