Long
ago in a small village in India, a man was
returning home after a day's work. He passed by
the home of a Brahman. The Brahman was cooking
his food. He sat on a small cushioned settee and
was stirring his pot with his right hand. The
man noticed that the Brahman held his left hand
stretched out, hanging in the air in the
direction opposite to his cooking pot. The man
was very curious as to why the Brahman was
sitting in such an uncomfortable posture, so he
asked why the learned Brahman was punishing his
left hand.
"Oh!" replied the Brahman. That is the impure
(toilet use) hand. I am keeping it away from my
food."
The man smiled and said, "Well, you keep the
real culprit seated comfortable on that settee,
and are punishing the poor hand?!"
Whenever I see Sanjay Dutt being hauled off to
court escorted by the khaki-wardi wala thola
log, this anecdote comes to my mind. The Indian
Government is unable to nab / kill Dawood
Ibrahim, the real culprit behind the Bombay
Blasts and is harassing this poor guy who was
forced by the Dawood gang to let his premises be
used to keep weapons. It is disgraceful!
I am sure under duress the Justice of the bench
that hears his case will commit the same crime
that Sanjay Dutt is accused of.
I guess the court needs to rule that the Indian
Government needs to produce Dawood first, and
only then go after Sanjay Dutt. Sanjay Dutt has
proved his worth to society. He contributes a
lot as an entertainer /actor. I think he is
being made a scapegoat and whenever the Courts
want to show that there is still a law in the
land, they parade this poor guy to court while
Dawood Ibrahim sits in Lahore running his
businesses, eating Biryani and drinking his
imported beer.
If Indian justice can not be exported to a
fugitive living boldly in a foreign country,
then it should not look for scapegoats in useful
citizens either.

Why did Sanjay Dutt not inform the
police about Dawood Ibraham
activities? Rather he was hoarding
weapons supplied by Ibrahim. -

I will call him an unfortunate
person. His mother died when he was
young. His father was busy in taking
her mother to and fro to US for
treatment and he was left alone with
lots of money with no guardianship.
Result is Sanjay Dutt accused under
different sections of IPC and Cr. P.
C.
He has suffered a lot and has
realized the offence he made under
duress. We have same feelings for
him as ARCEE has written but crime
can not be left un-punished. We all
must pray that the concerned Judge
will keep all the circumstances
before him while delivering his
judgment. - Anjum Parwej - Dec.
