A Boil on the Nose

For three days I have been following the news about a widow (of the deceased Overseas Bank Employee) going on a Satyagrah fast in front of her apartment in effort to regain its possession. The picture of her with her small children is heartrending to say the least.

If some newsmagazine or news channel takes this issue and splashes it on its cover on the National Stage then we shout "foul!" Don't we, because of our crumbling institutions and corrupt politicians, give ammunition like this to whoever wants to attack Bihar ?

I am surprised why the Chief Minister/Court system has not resolved this issue already. How long does it take to read the lease agreement and make a decision ? A Judge of the High Court should drive by there, hold court, and make a ruling at the spot. After all, what is a judge for ? This matter needs to be diffused ASAP. It is like a boil on the nose for Bihar. The longer it stays unresolved, the more others will talk about it.

Comments:
The wisdom of Justice prevailed again. Will keep an eagle's eye on this issue till 6th Jan.
