Dear
CM,
As I understand you are meeting the prime
minister of Japan during his visit to New Delhi.
As reported, you shall be discussing the
proposed IIT in Bihar and seeking Japanese
collaboration. Japan still is the best in
product design, manufacturing and quality
engineering. If Japan wishes and can be sold
properly, IIT of Bihar can become the best IIT
and make a global mark in manufacturing
engineering and manufacturing management, as its
teaching media will be English.
Simultaneously, you must get Japan establish a
school of Japanese Language too in Bihar that
can train the students in the language. Japan
with huge shortage of manpower because of aging
population can provide a lot of employment
opportunity for the skilled youth of the state.
I wish you could ask Japanese to provide
consultancy and aid to start and develop the
manufacturing industry in Bihar that you wanted
initially. Japanese are the best in that. Bihar
must have strong manufacturing to employ its
people, and Japan can be of immense help.
I am sure you will also request Japan to involve
itself in a big way in Nalanda International
University to make it again globally famous, and
seek its assistance to create world-class
infrastructure such as an 8-lane corridor
connecting East-West Corridor with Golden
Quadrilateral in Bihar.
I wish you a great success.

But
only meeting with some great people
will not serve any purpose until
people out there do not get awake.
See for example:
Flood problem in North Bihar is lack
of doing. We could find the solution
if we would have gotten support from
all civil engineers. People out
there are only interested in getting
job, not doing their duties. If we
could solve this problem we would
have independence in agriculture.
Our education system could have been
better if we would have gotten
support from all the teachers
(primary/secondary/higher). What
they do is after getting their jobs
is just sleeping in the schools or
beating children or doing their
kheti…
In secretariat/bank/Govt offices, if
we go there to get our work done it
takes one heck of a time. People out
there are not lazy but are only
concerned about their family issues.
We do not find doctors in hospitals
and hence private doctors are making
money and common people are
suffering.
Most of the time PMC people are on
strike and hence lots of kachras are
there in the city.
We he good colleges but very less
and hence people are migrating to
other states to get their degrees
and jobs. And they are taking state
revenues with them.
These are some of the few problems
that are the reasons for our
backwardness with respect to other
states. If we get rid of all these
basic problems we will have the best
state in the world. - Sanjeev

I
agree that officials including
teachers, engineers, doctors and
others are not doing their job. For
past 15 years no one worked in the
state. Lalu Yadav was teaching a
casteist mantra to the state. Now
the time has come where priorities
have changes in the state. Lalu raj
was in Bihar for 15 years, it's
almost like one generation did not
do work during their prime age.
Things are changing now and it will
soon be a productive state. - Just
hope for the best. - Sunil Sinha
