Sulabh
experience has been a wonderful and unique thing
in India which has contributed towards improving
sanitation internationally while at the same
time contributing towards human development.
Now it's time that it graduates to "Durlabh
Shauchalay", by this I mean building high-end
lavatories for those who can pay and use the
profit generated towards improving its other
activities. Indian cities and especially cities
in Bihar need them badly. Better quality
lavatories with good bath fitting combined with
bathrooms with hot and cold water supply at Rail
and bus stations, near office complexes in
cities and at important places on highways can
readily find users with Indian economy on rise,
even if it is available for a reasonably good
prices.
Sulabh or any other company can also get into
the business of waste management in cities.
Residential complexes with higher income group
can readily become customers. Bihar can take a
lead in this and become an example to the
country.
