The crying of Mr. Monazir Hasan seems to be foul and his assertions suspicious. As long as he was in the cabinet everything was fine. The moment he got bumped everything became bad.

Let us suppose that he has the information that corruption is prevalent in Nitish's administration. Why cannot he make it public? If his allegations are proven right, it would raise his public perception and he would be the champion of good governance.

However, it appears that Mr. Monazir Hasan is crying wolf because he was dropped from the cabinet. It only proves that politicians once get the power wish to stick to it; and they do not want to leave the luxury of being the minister.

Mr. Monazir Hasan should also know that ministers serve on the pleasure of the Chief Minister; and they have no right to continue if the Chief Minister chooses to dismiss them.

Comments:
It's high time to kick him out from party and the government. These are the people who always blackmail on the basis of community or minority, I can tell you such people are the real culprit of pathetic condition of their so called own cast or community. If he was so clean, who had stopped him from blowing the whistle when he was the minister?

People like Monazir Hasan must be shown the door. This will send a positive message to the people, and will be an eyeopener for those tend to blackmail. In fact law should take action against ministers for hiding this fact when he was a minister. - Alok Nandan - MAy. 1, 2008
