Bihar and UP Needs to be Independent from India?
By Naren Singh

A year back
I had written about the regionalism in India
against core Hindi-speaking people of India
specially Biharis -
http://www.patnadaily.com/readerswrite/2007/jan/naren_singh1.html
Almost a year later the situation remains same
because the socio political stand of the
republic of India still stays unchanged or
worsened against Hindi-speaking Indians (now on,
the so called elite north Indians from UP are
included in this list too).
After Independence, several states of India
flourished on the solder of hard-working and
incredibly honest Biharis, UP'ites or
Rajasthanis. Assam, Punjab, Haryana,
Maharashtra, Delhi, Bengal and even Jammu and
Kashmir are few of the beneficiary states of
united India. They flourished day and night and
Biharis laborers and other workers remained at
same pathetic level and were treated as third
class Indians.
Now all of the sudden, the Biharis and UP'ites
are being thrashed in different parts of
Independent (sometime I laugh at this
independence) Republic of India. Maharashtra,
Assam and Delhi are the latest states to add
insult to injury to the North Indian Biharis or
UP'ites. The repetitive attacks on Biharis and
UP'ites all around the country are the almost
unquestionable hint that the Biharis and UP'ites
are no more welcome in rapidly developing
republic of India where big MNCs are coming with
big number of jobs. Huh!
So the game plan of developed states of
Independent India is to keep majority of Bihari
and UP'ites 'Majdoor' and therefore they should
always be in 'Jee-Huzur' mode to the natives of
states they are doing the 'majdoori'.
Being a Bihari, shouldn't I feel ashamed of
being an Indian today? At least I feel today!
We, the Biharis and the UP'ites were the one who
started the fight against British government for
the Independence of India. Hello India - Mangal
Pandey was a north Indian.
I personally think that rest of India has forgot
our contribution to the struggle for
Independence of this country and they will never
offer dignified behavior we deserve. Since the
Biharis and UP'ites are already living in India
as a foreigner therefore these two states (at
least) has no reason to call themselves as
Indian and must start their homework to
breakaway from the Republic of India.
And to the dumb political jokers of Bihar and UP
- once we were the best in India and because of
your dumb and self-suicidal act of political
gimmicks we are at the bottom of any sense of
self prestige or dignity today. We the Biharis
and UP'ites are literally ashamed of you. You
are nothing but merely a political puppet to
whom who are playing with the sentiments of
common and innocent Biharis and UP'ites. So, hey
Bihari and UP'ite politicians, would you be
ashamed of yourself? I wish, you could.

Now
Khuswant Singh will pen down a new
book- “Train to Bihar”. - Jayant
Kumar Singh - Feb. 15, 2008
Bihar and UP junta are being let
down by their own people. The so
called MPs and MLAs of our region.
These good for nothing
representatives have made Bihars/UPiets
so vulnerable that any Tom, Dick and
Harry can tarnish our self respect
any where they want.
We all know the strength of Bihari
MPs in center who are supporting a
impotent government at the center.
If these people have any self
respect, cannot these MPs force the
center to act stringently over MNS
goons otherwise they will withdraw
their support?
If Shiv Sena can choose a separate
line from BJP to support a
Maharashtrian as President of India
then what is stopping our MPs to
raise voice to safeguard our self
respect?
Even if they cannot act in such
harsh situation one can think what
they would do otherwise. - Ashok
