
Peas Pulao

Ingredients:
• 3 cups
rice
• 3 onions sliced
• 2 cups green peas
• Garlic - 3/4 flakes finely chopped
• Green chilies 5/6 - sliced
• tejpatta - 4
• badi elaichi lightly crushed - 1
• jeera, rai, haldi, curry leaves
• dhania jeera powder - 1 tblsp
• aamchur powder - 1 tsp
• pulao masala - 2 tblsp
• garam masala - 1 tsp
• Chopped coriander (dhania)
• Ghee
Method:
1. Wash rice and add 6 cups water to it
2. Add salt to it and leave it for 15 mins.
3. Cook it in an open vessel till the rice is
almost done. See that it is not over cooked and
starts breaking.
4. Drain the excess water from the rice if any
and run cold water through it.
5. Spread the rice in a plate and keep aside.
6. Take ghee in a pan. Add rai to it, once it
splutters add jeera, curry leaves, tejpatta,
badi ealichi, green chilies.
7. Add garlic and stir till it starts turning
brown.
8. Add onions. Stir till they turn golden brown.
9. Add haldi, peas and salt to it.
10. Cook till onions and peas are done.
11. Now add amchur powder, dhani powder, garam
masala and pulao masala. Adjust it as per your
taste.
12. Add rice to it, mix properly and heat for
3-4 mins.
13. Garnish with chopped coriander.
