Countries like India and many developing and under-developed countries which rank high in "The Corruption Perception Index" of International Transparency, need to make it mandatory for colleges and universities program curriculum to include an important course namely "INTEGRITY AND ANTI-CORRUPTION".

Most of these institutions have overlooked to update their programs by not including such a course. The reasons for inclusion are that there should be high awareness among the youths about ills of corruption and when they take up administrative, managerial and leadership positions in public and private sectors, they do not resort to unethical practices and make the common people’s life easy and help in improving their countries image and goodwill.

Such a course should cover a range of integrity and anti-corruption related topics. This should help them in inculcating a sense of servicing the public effectively. They will understand that corruption is a destroyer of human prosperity.

The youths of today in these countries need to be exposed with concepts of corruption, and misconduct, reasons for their occurrence, and explaining individual, institutional, political and social factors for such negative behaviours both in national and international contexts.

Integrity concepts, principles, management system and anti-corruption course will give them a specialized knowledge of integrity system and the environment in which they operate in.
Both strong theoretical and practical foundation may ensure the youth with best practice approach to corruption prevention.

Additionally, strategies for investigation of such ill practices. It should be explained to them that ethical decision making is very crucial for good governance and to retain public trust and confidence in the system. Particular focus on integrity policy and practice; whistle-blower protection law should be exposed to them. This should be equipped with the skills and tools to fight against corruption and what preventive measures should be taken in their own working environment. Citizen participation is very important in the prevention and control of corruption.

I am sure that those people who were punished in corruption cases, must have understood the lessons that they don’t want their children and the next generation to commit misconduct and suffer like them. Therefore, such a course should be taught by universities and colleges, by inviting experts from government and other institutions, using real life cases and the end consequences of such cases that occurred.

We need to understand that corruption is a management problem and it is the consequence of weak governance and enforcement systems. Therefore, the objectives of such a course could be
