Patna: Flights at Patna Airport were suspended on Thursday evening due to inclement weather, officials at the Jai Prakash Narain Airport said.

Talking to the media, airport director Bhupesh Negi said both incoming and outgoing flights were suspended until weather condition became safe for planes to take off or land.

“We will monitor the weather till 10:00 pm today after which a decision would be made whether condition was safe enough to restore flights at the airport, Negi said.

Earlier, one plane coming from Delhi was directed to return to its station of origination due to unsafe weather condition at Patna Airport where visibility was near zero at 6:45 pm.
