कश्मीरी पंडितों का एक वर्ग कश्मीर लौटने के पक्ष में है तो दूसरा विपक्ष में। दूसरे पक्ष का कहना यह है कि हमसे अगर घर-वापसी की बात की जा रही है तो फिर हमें मार-पीट कर भगाया ही क्यों गया? क्या गारंटी है कि हमारे साथ दुबारा वह न हो जिसको हम ने आज से लगभग तीस साल पहले झेला है।

कंगना रणौत का यह बयान कि आज़ादी हमें भीख में मिली है, सचमुच स्वतंत्रता संग्राम में शहीद हुए या फिर निरन्तर संघर्ष करते रहे हमारे देश-भक्तों का घोर अपमान है ।

श्रीनगर/कश्मीर में हाल ही में जिहादियों द्वारा अल्पसंख्यक वर्ग के जिन मासूमों की निर्मम हत्या की गई, उससे सिद्ध होता है कि वादी में अभी हालात सामान्य होते नजर नहीं आ रहे। अल्पसंख्यकों में भय का माहौल बना हुआ है। यह सही है कि जैसे ही स्थिति सुधरती नजर आती है, जिहादी फौरन चौकन्ने हो जाते हैं और कोई-न-कोई वारदात कर जाते हैं। 

हमारा देश सांस्कृतिक दृष्टि से एक समृद्ध देश है। इसकी वैविध्यपूर्ण संस्कृति हमारे विभिन्न त्योहारों और पर्वों में झलकती है। यहाँ होली, दीवाली, दशहरा, पोंगल, महाशिवरात्रि, क्रिसमस, ईद इत्यादि अनेक त्योहार मनाए जाते हैं। भारतवासी ये त्योहार पूर्ण उत्साह और धूमधाम से मनाते हैं। हमारे इन सभी त्योहारों और पर्वों में महाशिवरात्रि का त्यौहार विशेष महत्व रखता है।

India's twenty brave soldiers sacrificed their lives in Galvan valley face-off for the honor of their motherland. There have been more casualties on the other side, as well.
